Damir S. (8 out of 10 ) Al Pacino was great in this movie. The acting in the finale is almost at the same level as in Godfather 2, when he got duty to kill this mafioso in a restaurant. What he did there with his eyes and facial expresions, this resolve to kill them, moral doubt, disgust with rotten cop, he does here with speech. Sinatra's song comes in great, he's like a chameleon, boxer, junkie, cop, dealer, he can be convincing in any role. My favorite actor.

peter avery (8 out of 10 ) This film is very good, but you must watch very closely when everything changes. The subtlety is brilliant. Al Pacino gives a riveting performance as the devil. However, I like Keanu Reeves in this, but I thouhgt they may have picked someone else. Charlize Theron is very good. The supporting cast is very mysteriously played and only Kevin's sister at the very end of the film, shows her true colors. A sexy and engrossing film.
J Flores (9 out of 10 ) This is one of my favorite all time films. I completely enjoyed everything about this film. The music score was composed perfectly to back every intense scene that this film delivered. The story was clever, profound, and very compelling. The script was brilliant. The dialogue in this movie is absolute genius. Then, there is the acting. You know, I was always a Pacino fan, but this movie made me truly admire his uncanny ability to transform himself into his role. His performance in this movie was absolutely riveting. He acted with conviction! I thought Keanu did a fantastic job, considering his acting ability. In most movies, he tends to be very robotic. Plastic if I may! But in this movie, I think he did a wonderful job. I think Pacino brought the best out of him. Supporting cast was great, and kudos to Charlize. Awesome job. My favorite part is the dialogue towards the end. Al Pacino was so convincing as the Devil that it was kind of disturbing to me. Everything from facial expressions, to body language. It was absolutely sadistic. Two thumbs up for this intense, and very brilliantly executed suspense thriller.

taka (10 out of 10 ) I saw this movie and have just read the script here. It's wonderful. This just reminded me of a story 'Kantan Issui no Yume' from the famous old story of China.
Georges (10 out of 10 ) Someone said in the comments that Al Pacino was awful in his role. Gibson, you obviously have no idea what great acting is. Al was born to act, go watch SCENT OF A WOMAN as well.
